The 29th Shootout is just around the corner. The teams are planning strategy, getting their equipment ready, their boats, their bait, their secret weapons, getting themselves in shape, etc....they are making their final preparations for the Bertram Hatteras Shootout taking place May 6-10, 2008 at the Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbour, Marsh Harbour, The Bahamas.
This year’s event will once again attract the top professionals of sportfishing to battle it out.
The 29th Shootout, at the Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour promises to once again be an intense fishing competition between Bertram and Hatteras Sport Fishing Boats. There are individual prizes along with competing for the overall Team championship between Bertram and Hatteras. An opening night reception, a "lay day" to enjoy the resort, and nightly entertainment and parties that make this invitational a great annual event for boat owners, captains and anglers from all over the globe.
